July 7/St. Charles, Ill. -- FONA welcomed Sandra Balco as its new beverage business unit director. She brings knowledge and experience gained through a 25-year career in the food ingredients and flavor business.

She will lead the company's beverage business unit, working closely with dry and liquid beverage team members in flavor creation and application development.

Balco holds a M.B.A. from DePaul University and a M.S. in food science from the University of Illinois.
