William Wittman first made a name for himself in the record industry, and his latest endeavor—a foray into foods—pays a nod to his days gone by as a record producer
and musician.

Loud Foods, Wittman’s food company, has launched with Orange Sunshine Mango Habanero Sauce. The product has already been recognized in the 2013 Scovie Awards, the spicy food competition, taking the prize in the all-natural hot sauce category. Setting the sauce apart is its base, which is not vinegar.

Wittman notes, “Orange Sunshine is about fruit, mango, first followed by some sweetness and a savory, umami background and only finally by the deep back-heat and flavor of the habaneros.”

The gluten-free sauce is suitable from everything from drinks to salad dressings to appetizers and main courses.
