Virginia Dare introduces a new black tea concentrate for ready-to-drink (RTD) product applications. Tea Concentrate TT99 provides the full tea flavor consumers expect of an RTD tea beverage, while it eliminates or reduces the amount of tea solids in the formulation. Consumer research conducted by Virginia Dare with in-franchise, frequent RTD tea beverage consumers found that 76% would prefer no visible tea powder in their drink. This research indicates that a product improvement opportunity exists for an RTD tea beverage with more clarity and that is visibly free of solids. Tea Concentrate TT99 is made starting from brewed tea, using Virginia Dare’s unique and proprietary technologies.
