Coloring foodstuffs are food ingredients with coloring properties that may be added to food and beverages without declaring them as E-numbers. These ingredients are processed from edible, natural sources, such as fruits and vegetables. Chr. Hansen now offers 10 more color shades, which gives FruitMax as many as 100 different shades for applications in the confectionery, ice cream, beverage, dairy and fruit preparation industries. Chr. Hansen also offers full-service support (including formulation and application expertise) and regulatory guidance, and boasts a “Global Expertise Center” in Montpellier, France.
