January 14/Lenxa, Kan./Press Release – Food ingredients supplier Corbion announced three executive appointments and leadership roles to support growth in key markets.

The company promoted David Meggs to vice president, Meat and Culinary Market Unit. Thomas Douglass was named category director, Food Market Unit; and Jim Anderson was named national sales manager, Industrial Solutions.

Officials say Meggs will oversee sales and business development in the meat and culinary segment. Meggs has been with the organization for 10 years, most recently as director of business development, food, for Corbion, formerly Purac.

Douglass recently joined Corbion as fortification director. In his new role, Douglass will be responsible for supporting sales through the development and execution of category growth strategies for the Food Market Unit.

Corbion says Anderson will lead the Industrial group as national sales manager for Industrial Solutions. Anderson has been with the organization for five years, most recently as national sales manager, Trancendim Solutions, for Corbion, formerly Caravan Ingredients.
