Ready Pac Foods, Inc. announced the appointment of Kent Kise as Vice President of Corporate Quality and Food Safety. Kise will be based in Ready Pac’s Irwindale, Calif. headquarters and will report to Peter Laport, Chief Supply Chain Officer, Ready Pac Foods.

In his new role, Kise will leverage his experience as a senior operations executive with an extensive background in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. He will provide strategic vision and leadership to drive operational processes, productivity and bottom line improvements, as well as lead development of quality strategies across Ready Pac Foods. Kise will also partner closely with the company’s research and development team to ensure clear alignment with technical services and quality assurance.

Kise joins Ready Pac Foods with a wealth of experience, holding a variety of roles within the CPG and beverage industries. In his previous role as Laboratory Director at Certified Laboratories, Inc., Kise managed food safety and quality testing operations including environmental, raw material, import and finished product testing. Prior to that role, Kise served as Vice President of Production, Quality and Technical Services at DS Waters of America, Inc., supporting the development of quality management systems across a 28 plant, 400 employee manufacturing base while managing a $60 million annual budget.

Prior to his roles at DS Waters of America, Inc. and Certified Laboratories, Inc., Kise served in integral positions at a number of companies, including Suntory Water Group, Nestle Waters of North America, Clorox, Concord Beverage Company, PepsiCo and Hanover Brands.
