Hitting the Shelves: Warm with Stovetop -- April 2009



Stuffing/dressing has long been regarded as a comfort food, typically enjoyed during the holiday season or on a cold winter’s day. While some consumers prepare dressing using specialized recipes, others prefer shelf-stable brands that simply require the addition of water and butter for ready-made stuffing. Kraft Foods’ StoveTop is possibly the most widely recognized stuffing brand in the U.S., and this past December, the brand underwent notable campaign efforts for promoting its new Quick Cups offering.

StoveTop is now available in an individual cup, StoveTop Quick Cups. Each cup holds two servings of the cornbread stuffing mix that may be conveniently consumed directly from the container. Instructing consumers to “just add water, microwave and fluff,” the side dish is ready to eat in 45 seconds.
