As the U.S. population ages, joint pain and fatigue are growing problems that consumers face. To alleviate the discomfort, many take daily glucosamine dietary supplement pills. Now they have another alternative. The Elations Glucosamine/Chondroitin Supplement for Healthy Joints was launched nationally in the U.S. in September 2007. The line has two varieties: Raspberry White Grape and Cranberry Apple. On Elations’ website, the company claims that “its unique 4-in-1 solution delivers just the right amounts of glucosamine, chondroitin, calcium and vitamin C,” and after four weeks of daily use, consumers are guaranteed improvement in joint discomfort, or they can get their money back.

This product is not new. Procter & Gamble launched the product, with the same brand name, in 2001. However, after an unsuccessful release, the company pulled the product and sold the concept and brand.
