Eating chocolate, like drinking fine wine,
is different for everyone. TCHO wants to transform chocolate and how consumers
experience eating it. The company conducted a study where consumers rated the
chocolate on taste, consistency, smell and flavor variety. Batches were
formulated based on the critiques, and, as a result, formulations were changed
as often as every 36 hours. The 1.0 Chocolatey Dark Chocolate contains 70%
cacao, made from selected beans from Ghana. The flavor is described as a rich,
intensely fudge-like flavor, with hints of roasted malt and caramel. The pack
features a Flavor Wheel, which represents the kaleidoscope of natural flavors
inherent in the cacao bean. People can use the wheel to guide themselves to the
next chocolate they will like.
