Zoës Kitchen, a fast casual Mediterranean restaurant group, is introducing an expanded kids menu developed with the eating preferences of Gen Z in mind. The new menu offers more choices, nutrition, and adventure for this next generation of foodies.

Post-millennials, whom the company views as the “no nugget generation,” are open-minded eaters with sophisticated palates; global influences are their norm. They desire more variety and meals that are made-from-scratch, and tend to gravitate towards fast casual dining. The new Zoës Kitchen kids menu offers wholesome and diverse selections for evolving taste buds.

“I’m a father of two daughters born in Generation Z. They love experiencing new flavors, and gladly choose kabobs and hummus over fries,” said Kevin Miles, CEO and President at Zoës Kitchen. “Ultimately, they crave food that makes them feel good. I’m excited to share our new kids menu with families who also value made-from-scratch, nutritious options."

Inspired by the Mediterranean food philosophy, dishes feature ingredients such as whole grains, fresh vegetables, fruits, and seafood, and incorporate grilling as the predominant method of cooking. Each entrée is served with a choice of side, offering kids the opportunity to create a custom, balanced meal. Entrées include:

• Salmon or Shrimp Kabobs

• Ham and Cheese Piadina made with fresh mozzarella and rosemary ham

• Pizza Piadina made with mozzarella, parmesan, and a new Mediterranean tomato sauce

• Orzo Pasta Bowl
