With consumers demanding more protein in many food categories, Barry Callebaut’s FortiPro offers an extensive line of high protein chocolate solutions for culinary applications—while also offering a sweet and decadent eating experience. Together, the flavor profile and high protein content will ensure Barry Callebaut customers can create products that respond directly to the consumer demand.

The core FortiPro high protein coatings contain 15% to 20% protein levels, with some products containing more than 20%. High protein coatings are offered in several flavor formats, including milk, dark, white, and yogurt. FortiPro products are ready to use for multiple applications, including snacks, cereal, baked goods, and snack bars.

Alongside the core protein coating portfolio, Barry Callebaut also offers more new products, including a high protein chip inclusion and a new protein coating using plant protein. These new offerings expand Barry Callebaut’s roster of high protein products and provide customers the opportunity to include protein through plant protein drivers, such as coatings and inclusions.

Given the increased demand of plant-based proteins, the new product line is an example of Barry Callebaut’s commitment to product development and innovation. Barry Callebaut’s marketing and innovation team will continue to drive new product development given the consumer landscape and the drive to include protein in most eating occasions. Barry Callebaut will continue development on high protein solutions to ensure the protein toolkit has several offerings for every developer’s needs.
