General Mills Foodservice, Minneapolis, helps hospitals offer well-balanced, chef-inspired entrees. Good Table Entrees Made Easy is a new line of individually-portioned and nutritious pasta pouches complete with pasta, sauce and vegetables. Each of two varieties may be served “as is” or customized with protein and other add-ons for a variety of menu possibilities.
“Food plays a major role in patient satisfaction, yet many hospital foodservice operations feel the pressures of rising meal counts, reduced labor and a transition to more of a room service model,” says Chef Gilles Stassart, who helped develop Meals Made Easy and works closely with healthcare operations on behalf of General Mills Foodservice.
