Cansortium Inc., a vertically-integrated provider of medical cannabis operating under the Fluent brand, has received approval from the Florida Department of Health and will commence sales of edibles in each of its Fluent dispensaries in the state.

Cansortium says was well-positioned to react to the emergency rules issued by DOH at the end of August and quickly move through the regulatory approval process. Edibles represents a route of delivery eagerly anticipated by medical marijuana patients in Florida.
