Results Suggest HI-MAIZE High Amylose Resistant Starch May Improve Insulin Sensitivity in Women

Ingredion Incorporated announced the results of a new clinical trial conducted using HI-MAIZEĀ® high amylose resistant starch, which shows that the ingredient may improve insulin sensitivity in women.
Low doses of a resistant starch could improve insulin sensitivity in men at risk for prediabetes, according to a study underwritten by National Starch LLC, a business unit of Corn Products International.
