Chastity McLeod
Director of Technical Packaging
Nestlé USA

Chastity McLeod is currently the Director of Technical Packaging for Nestlé USA and has been with Nestlé for 16+ years in a variety of roles. Chastity began her career with Nestle in 2005, based in Solon, OH supporting the $1B Stouffer’s Brand as Packaging Engineer. In 2009, she accepted a global expatriation, moving to Nestle R&D in Singen, Germany where she was responsible for new packaging development for Ambient products, globally. While there, she became Interim Group Manager and drove initiatives beyond packaging, including the implementation of lean principles to drive vertical startups for patented packs and processes. Three years later, Chastity returned to the US and soon became Packaging Group Manager for the Frozen and Chilled Foods Businesses, globally. Here, she managed new packaging development, technology roadmap-building, and sustainability efforts for all US Frozen and Chilled brands, as well as European brands such as Garden Gourmet and Buitoni Pizza. Nestle encourages growth and movement for leaders, so in 2018 Chastity challenged herself by moving from Packaging into Product Development in 2018. This was a US Market role, leading development of Pizza and Snacking brands you love such as DiGiorno, California Pizza Kitchen, Tombstone, and Hot Pockets. In August of 2019, Chastity returned to her roots in Packaging and is now responsible for packaging innovation and renovation spanning all Nestle USA businesses, including a team of 27 reports based across Ohio and Washington DC. This includes the Meals, Pizza, Beverage, Baking, and Global Brands Portfolios, as well as Packaging support for 19+ manufacturing locations. As a leader, Chastity believes in the personal power of people. She firmly believes that every person who shows up to work wants to be great, and that it is up to the leader to provide an environment where one’s greatest potential can be unlocked. Only then, will we accomplish all that we need to move our company, and our society, forward.
