Associate Director of Consumer and Sensory –Client Services
The National Food Lab

Natasha DSouza is currently the Associate Director of Consumer and Sensory –Client Services at the National Food Lab (a Eurofins Company). At the National Food Lab, Natasha works with several clients to develop learning plans that generate insights into creating products that delight consumers. Natasha has held various positions of increasing responsibility in R&D, consumer science and sensory at various CPG companies. Prior to joining the National Food Lab she was the Senior Manager of Research, Development and Innovation at Earthbound Farm (Danone NA Fresh Foods Division) where she led her team in research and innovation activities as well as pipeline development. Prior to joining Earthbound Farm, Dr. DSouza spent 10 years at General Mills in various roles in sensory, quality and product development. Natasha holds a Ph.D. in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Maine and a Master’s degree from the University of Reading, United Kingdom. She has also served as regional coordinator for the MN region of the Society of Sensory Professionals and has mentored several students at the University of Reading, United Kingdom and guest lectured at the University of Maine. On a personal note, Natasha enjoys reading and traveling around the world with her husband and two kids.
