Hitting the Shelves: Pie in Pocket -- January 2010



In the U.S., Amy’s Kitchen released Vegetable Pie in a Pocket Sandwich under the Amy’s brand. Amy’s Vegetable Pie in a Pocket Sandwich is made with organic vegetables and grains and contains no bio-engineered ingredients or dairy products. This certified organic product is microwavable and retails in a 5oz recyclable box.

The product is said to be a good source of fiber and contains no cholesterol. Also available: Teriyaki Wrap, made with organic tofu, brown rice and vegetables; and Breakfast Scramble Wrap, made with organic tofu, vegetables and cheese. The products are free from GMOs, trans fat, preservatives or added MSG.
