Hitting the Shelves: Powdery Sweetness -- October 2009

With the high demand for healthy alternatives to sugar and sweets, honey has been praised for its beneficial properties. Often, it is used as a substitute sweetener in various foods and drinks. Morning Moo’s Home Storage has launched an innovative way to package this sweet treat. The company’s Honey Powder is said to offer all the benefits of natural honey, without the sticky mess. The product is said to be highly nutritious and can readily be used in recipes or mixed with water to create liquid honey, making it versatile and easy to use. The shelflife is also longer than traditional bottles of honey, which makes it an ideal cupboard staple. Since it comes in a 1.36kg tin, consumers are getting a good amount of honey for their money.
