October 29/Sydney/RWE Australian Business News -- Freedom Nutritional Products has completed acquisition of Norganic Foods. The acquisition will give Freedom Foods increased market share in cereals and snacks.
The consideration is $5.5 million which comprises trademarks and inventory and is being made on an EBITA multiple of around six times earnings contribution. Payment of $1 million of the consideration is deferred for 12 months and subject to performance conditions. The acquisition is being funded from a new debt facility.
