The savory snack food category is known for established flavors of various cheese blends, potato-derived ingredients and salty applications. Many consumers crave these product attributes in their snacking, but one U.S. manufacturer has diversified this relatively unchanged food segment with sweet, berry-flavored tortilla chips. R.W. Garcia’s Berry Tortilla Chips are made with organic corn and are kosher-certified, while Berry Sweet & Savory Tortilla Chips are high in antioxidants and dietary fiber levels. The range includes Blueberry, Cranberry and Pomegranate varieties.

Sustainable manufacturing is of greatest concern to R.W. Garcia; leftover corn not processed into the firm’s finished products is either donated to cattle farmers or pet food manufacturers.
