New York/August 27, 2007/MarketWatch -- Flowers Foods Inc. said it named R. Steve Kinsey to the post of chief financial officer, replacing Jimmy M. Woodward, who will retire effective September 15, citing family reasons. Woodward will remain in an advisory capacity to the Thomasville, Ga., baked-goods producer. Kinsey has served as the company's vice president and corporate controller.
