Developed to meet the growing consumption of peppers and ethnic foods, Tres Hermanas products offer unique, on-trend flavors that range from a Fire Roasted Bourbon Red Sauce to Tequila-Brined Jalapeños. U.S. consumption of all peppers has increased, rising from around 15.3 pounds per person in 2005 to 19.1 pounds per person in 2012 according to the Agricultural Marketing Resource Center.
Research from Nielsen also shows a 12.4 percent growth of interest in Hispanic entrees in non-Hispanic influenced stores. With fresh peppers packed into each Tres Hermanas product, the single meal pouches and resealable glass jars conveniently offer ethnic food flavors to meet consumer needs and trends.
Fresh from the field within miles of our of Deming, New Mexico facility, each Tres Hermanas pepper is nurtured by the hands of farmers who have tended the land for generations. Once their bold flavors are ready, the peppers are picked from family farms and are delivered to Mizkan’s packaging headquarters within a few miles.
