The National Food Processors Association (NFPA) has announced that Susan A. Ferenc, DVM, Ph.D. will join the association's staff as executive vice president, Scientific and Regulatory Affairs and chief science officer. Ferenc will join NFPA's staff in September.
"Dr. Ferenc will be an enormous asset for NFPA," said John Cady, NFPA's president and CEO, in making the announcement. "This appointment underscores NFPA's commitment to serve as the scientific voice of the food industry and to ensure that U.S. and international food policy decisions are based on sound science."
