Tata Tea Ltd has a strong presence in the Eastern European marketplace and is looking to increase its presence in the United States and the health drinks marketplace. If Tata Tea Ltd is able to complete this transaction it would retain the bottled water and powder beverage operations, but may sell the beer and snack business.The financial advisors in the deal include: Merrill Lynch & Co Inc for Tata Tea Ltd.
