Starbucks Patenting Beverage with Enhanced Flavors and Aromas
February 18/Seattle/Indian Patents News -- Starbucks Corporation filed a patent application for beverages with enhanced flavors and aromas and the method of making same. The inventors are Urano A. Robinson and Marcio J. Da Cruz.
Starbucks Corporation filed the patent application on Sept. 12, 2010. The patent application number is 4706/KOLNP/2010 A. The international classification number is A23F5/40.
According to the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks, the patent is for "soluble coffee products comprising a coffee extract component and a pulverized coffee component that has not been extracted are described. Methods of making these products are also disclosed."
