June 8/Edinburgh, Scotland/Queen Margaret University - A new study from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh suggests pomegranate juice can help make people feel more positive and enthusiastic about their jobs.

Researchers looked at a group of people who drank 500ml of the red juice every day for two weeks and found they were less likely to feel distressed, nervous or guilty.

They also had lower heart rates.

The lead author on the study said drinking the juice is a good way to help alleviate chronic stress and maintain good health.

revious studies found the antioxidant-rich beverage also helped reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney disease.
