Gluten Free Chex Oatmeal
General Mills’ Chex brand debuts three new gluten free oatmeals.
General Mills greeted the summer with a companywide new product blitz involving as many as 150 new offerings in the United States and worldwide. Included among them are Chex Gluten Free Oatmeals in three flavors: Apple Cinnamon, Maple Brown Sugar and Original.
“Everything we do starts with the consumer in mind, and in Fiscal 2015 we’re applying this consumer first mindset across our portfolio,” said Ken Powell, General Mills chairman and CEO. “Through a deep understanding of our consumers – what foods they like, where they shop and how they like to cook - we are rapidly addressing their needs with products that offer relevant health news, increased convenience, superior taste and product quality.”
General Mills says Chex Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal features with chunks of real apples and cinnamon with no artificial flavors, colors, preservatives or high fructose corn syrup. A 9.54oz box contains six pouches. A one-pouch serving made with water contains 170 calories and 2g of fat. The Chex Gluten Free line also includes quick-cook oats variety (Original flavor) in a 16oz stand-up bag.
