December 18/Salt Lake City/Press Release -- GOED, the Global Organization of EPA and DHA Omega-3s, has appointed a new board of directors for its fiscal 2012-2013 year.

The new chair is Leslie van der Meulen, vice president-business development at Aurora Algae. Vice-chair is Gertjan de Koning, chief operating officer at DSM, and handling the roles of both secretary and treasurer for GOED is Gerard Bannenberg, business development manager at Solutex.

The new officers are appointed for a one-year term and will be in place until the end of September 2013.
