Yoplait has announced a 25 percent reduction of sugar in each single serve cup of its Original line of yogurts, the latest in General Mills' efforts to provide consumers with category leading better-for-you products. Following Yoplait's removal of high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) and its discontinued use of dairy with rBGH/rBST growth hormone in 2009, the new reduced sugar Original yogurt will provide fans with the great taste they have come to love and expect from Yoplait.
Yoplait Original will roll out a 25 percent sugar reduction in cups in March. The news was announced at the annual Consumer Analyst Group of New York conference in Boca Raton, Florida
