J.M. Garret Foods says it is taking three new appetizers to regional and national foodservice operators, as well as retail deli and convenience store retailers. New offerings include a Philly Cheesesteak Bite, made with seasoned steak pieces, cheese, onions and green peppers; a Beefy Queso Bite, made with seasoned ground beef, queso sauce and flour tortilla-flake coating; and a Reuben Bite, made with corned beef, Swiss cheese and coated with caraway seeds. “These new products are great for people on the go who either want a quick lunch or dinner; or for the ‘fourth meal crowd’ who want an afternoon snack to get them through the rest of day,” says owner Garret Swart.
