Special K has long been associated with weight management products, and recent years have seen the brand extend into new areas. Now, Kellogg developers are adding new elements to the Special K product, itself: namely, quinoa -- through a multi-grain blend.

Quinoa, oats and barley are among the “unique multi-grain blend of superfoods” found in Special K Nourish, the company notes. Topped with dried fruit and nuts, the product can be found in hot cereal and nutrition bar form, each boasting 7-8g of protein and 5g of fiber, along with less than 200 calories.

 The hot cereals feature such flavor options as Maple Brown Sugar Crunch, Cranberry Almond and Cinnamon Raisin Pecan. There are three nutrition bar options: Dark Chocolate Nut Delight, Cranberry Almond and Lemon Twist.
