Bell Flavors & Fragrances promoted Kelli Heinz, John Kocis, and Susan Payton at its headquarters in Northbrook, Ill. 

Kelli Heinz was recently promoted to vice president of marketing at Bell. She began her career at Bell in 2006 as an intern in Bell’s marketing department. After completing her master’s degree from DePaul University in 2011, Heinz was asked to take on additional responsibilities to represent Bell at industry associations. In 2014, Heinz was promoted to director of marketing & industry affairs. Under her director position, Heinz launched Bell's official trend program, 'Spark': Ignites Creativity, Inspires the Senses' to promote the latest flavor and fragrance trends through Bell's unique trend curation process.

In her new role, Heinz is responsible for coordinating Bell's global marketing teams with a primary focus to establish communication and marketing networks. Heinz has served six years on the board for the WFFC Chicago Chapter and currently serves as the treasurer. She has also been the program committee chair for FEMA since 2013. In 2018, Heinz was elected to the Board of Directors for the International Fragrance Association of North America. Heinz received her undergraduate Degree at Tulane University and a Master’s Degree from DePaul University. Heinz is currently enrolled in an executive program at Harvard Business School to be completed in 2018.

John Kocis has been promoted to the position of director of analytical services. Kocis began his career at Bell in 2007 as the manager of analytical services. He has brought a wealth of knowledge regarding validation and implementation of analytical methods to Bell. He has updated and automated Bell’s instrumentation to communicate with a single laboratory computer network, which dramatically improves efficiencies. Kocis has his Bachelor and Master degrees from Western and Northern Michigan Universities, respectively.

Bell is proud to promote Susan Payton to director of customer & administrative services. This change furthers Payton and her team’s steadily increasing level of contribution and responsibility, and also tracks with Bell’s growth and success over the course of her 27 year career at Bell. Payton joined Bell in April 1991, with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois. She has been serving multiple capacities during her tenure at Bell, including accounting; office administration; software implementation for teams in the US, Canada, and Mexico; Helpdesk; and Customer Service Manager. In addition, Payton is responsible for sales reporting for Bell global locations including US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil, and provides support and reporting to the Bell sales team and their key accounts.
