Carol Kitchen, senior vice president/general manager of Global Dairy Ingredients for Land O'Lakes Inc., was named Female Executive of the Year by the Women in Agribusiness National Advisory Board.

Kitchen, who has worked at Land O'Lakes for 15 years, received the award during the Women in Agribusiness Summit in Minneapolis.
This year’s Spirit of Innovation Award winners include an allergen-free vegetarian muffin, dirty rice, a bacon-wrapped and cream cheese-stuffed shrimp, and a uniquely sourced organic water.
Hormel Foods announced that Dr. Phillip L. Minerich, vice president of research and development at Hormel Foods, has been honored as a recipient of the prestigious Siehl Prize in Agriculture.
