Nearly all consumers buy private label products when grocery shopping, according to a new study.

Some 83% of consumers indicated that they sometimes buy private label brands if the product is better or it offers a higher value than the national brand alternative.
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as the Food Stamp program, may no longer be available for the purchase of energy drinks and other specified junk food items such as chips, candy and cookies.
