The owners of Angelic Bakehouse announced that it has reached an agreement to sell the maker of non-GMO sprouted baked goods to Lancaster Colony Corporation, a maker of specialty foods based in Ohio.
The company announced its latest innovation and first specialty deli line, called Bread Crisps, will be available in all Sendik’s Food Market locations. The crisps are also Angelic’s first product in the snack category.
To keep up with growing consumer demand, Angelic Bakehouse, Milwaukee, Wis., introduces a premium, sprouted seven-grain wrap to its line of flatbreads, which launched last year. The new offering debuted at Natural Products Expo West.
