Bio Serae Laboratories Joins Iranex

April 10/Rouen, France -– The Iranex Group (Colloïdes Naturels International [CNI], Starlight Products, Nutriprocess and Afritec) announced the acquisition of 100% of Bio serae Laboratories, producer and supplier of nutraceutical natural ingredients for food, health and well-being.

Located in Bram, near Toulouse, Bio serae Laboratories yearly turnover is of 7 million euros ($11 million).

This acquisition consolidates Iranex group and more specifically CNI's situation in the global health products market.

According to company statements, CNI and Bio Serae Laboratories will benefit from strong synergies either between their product ranges or within their clients' portfolios. Bio Serae markets a complete range of active nutraceutical ingredients through well-known brands for claims covering weight loss, joints comfort, antioxydant and heart protection.

Stéphane Dondain, CEO of the Iranex Group, noted, "This acquisition represents a major step for the development and diversification of the Iranex Group. Having acquired Bio Serae, the Iranex Group becomes an essential presence in the health and well-being market."
