News: Frutarom's New Sales VP
Faber joined Frutarom in 2004 as the company’s business manager, Pharma/Nutra. In that position, he was responsible for managing commercial activities related to Frutarom Botanicare Products and Flachsmann Standardized Extracts. In his new role at Frutarom, these responsibilities extend to leading a strong sales team focused on all sales channels in the Dietary Supplement arena. Beyond Frutarom Botanicare Products and Flachsmann Standardized Extracts, the sales effort expands to the implementation of an aggressive sales strategy that includes Frutarom’s LifeLine and Pharma/Nutra products as these relate to Dietary Supplement, Pet Care and Personal Care applications. Faber reports to Aydogan.
Formerly, Faber was global key account manager at Symrise, following his position with that company as its sales and product manager for Cosmetic Ingredients. Prior to these appointments, he was technical sales manager for Haarmann & Reimer. He is a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists and the American Botanical Council.
In making the announcement concerning Faber’s advancement at Frutarom USA, Aydogan said, “Michael has been a great asset to our organization, putting his vast experience across many market segments to help in reaching our sales and marketing objectives.”
Faber graduated from the Business School of the University of Goettingen, Holzminden, Germany and holds a degree in Economics/Accounting. He resides in Jersey City, N.J.
