On the Street: Asahi Buying House Foods/Mineral Water Corp.
April 8/Tokyo/FactSet Flashwire -- Asahi Soft Drinks Co Ltd., a subsidiary of Asahi Breweries Ltd., agreed to acquire the asset and business of House Foods Corp for 5.3 billion yen ($56.6 million). The assets to be acquired operate business under the brand name of Rokkono Oishimizu.
