Noodle Tensile Fixture

New Brookfield instrument tests the extensibility and tensile breaking strength of noodles, pasta and similar foods

Brookfield Engineering Laboratories offers the TA-NTF Noodle Tensile Fixture for their CT3 Texture Analyzer.

The Noodle Tensile Fixture is designed to test the extensibility and tensile breaking strength of noodles, pasta and other similar food items. Brookfield will work with the customer during instrument start up and training to develop the testing methodology required to provide consistent test results. The lower and upper grip assemblies are included when the fixture is purchased.

The Brookfield CT3 Tester is the best value in a stand-alone instrument for physical testing. It combines simplicity of operation with expanded test method capability and operates in both compression and tension modes.

A wide variety of standard probes, (cones, cylinders, blades, balls, punches) and fixtures (extrusion cell, shear cell, grips, etc.) are available for a multitude of applications.

TexturePro CT software controls the CT3 from a PC and enables the operator to automate test procedures and generate valuable analytical data.
