New Hilary’s Salad Dressings

New dressing varieties include Chili-Lime Vinaigrette, Beet Vinaigrette, Tomato Kalamata Dressing, and Spicy Island Dressing

HilarysSaladDressings_900
July 21, 2016

Hilary’s, the creator of convenient and culinary foods made from real ingredients and free from common allergens, has unveiled four new flavor-packed salad dressings:

Chili-Lime Vinaigrette, Beet Vinaigrette, Tomato Kalamata Dressing, and Spicy Island Dressing. Each of the dressings are made with real ingredients, such as green chilies, lime juice, carrots, tomatoes and bold spices, and serve as the perfect addition to salads, plant-based bowls, marinades and more. All four varieties begin shipping to retailers nationwide in July.

On a mission to help heal the American diet, Hilary’s new dressings continue the company’s tradition of delicious, culinary-inspired foods that are convenient, family-friendly and free from common allergens for all people who are seeking tasty, nourishing cuisine. Unlike many conventional dressings that are made with canola or soybean oil, Spicy Island Dressing is completely oil free and instead crafted with creamy coconut milk. The Chili-Lime Vinaigrette, Beet Vinaigrette, and Tomato Kalamata Dressing are all made with organic extra virgin olive oil and a touch of organic sunflower oil. The new dressings are made from Non-GMO Project Verified, Certified Gluten-Free, and USDA Certified Organic ingredients, and are free from common allergens including dairy, eggs, soy, nuts and corn. In addition, the Chili-Lime Vinaigrette, Beet Vinaigrette and Tomato Kalamata Dressing are Paleo Certified and Spicy Island Dressing is Paleo-friendly.

“The cornerstone of Hilary’s brand is to nourish people’s bodies and the environment with foods that are free from common allergens and artificial ingredients, but it’s equally as important to us that our products are flavorful and mouthwateringly delicious,” said Becky Harpstrite, Vice President of Marketing at Hilary’s. “These bright and fresh new dressings serve as perfect options for livening up a salad, to use as dips for veggies, or as marinades for all kinds of dishes, and prove that free-from eating can be packed with flavor.”

Like Hilary’s existing Ranch Chia, Remoulade, Apple Fennel, and Balsamic Thyme dressings, which have been reformulated with extra virgin olive oil and are USDA Certified Organic, Certified Gluten-Free, Non-GMO Project Verified, and Paleo-friendly, the new varieties are crafted with real, minimally processed ingredients many people have in their own kitchens. The new lineup includes:

• Chili-Lime Vinaigrette: organic green chilies star in this dressing and marinade, while tangy lime juice, extra virgin olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and peppery cumin balance the blend.

• Beet Vinaigrette: earthy organic root vegetables, extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar anchor this dressing and marinade, while hints of apple and dill keep it fresh.

• Spicy Island Dressing: a tangy twist on a classic dressing, Spicy Island is oil free, has a coconut milk base and is free from allergens including dairy and egg.

• Tomato Kalamata Dressing: ripe organic tomatoes, velvety extra virgin olive oil, and Mediterranean herbs bring robust flavor to this hearty dressing and dip.
