Taza Chocolate, an organic bean-to-bar chocolate manufacturer known for unique stone ground chocolate, is launching three new Almond Milk Chocolate bars that aims to change the way people think about milk chocolate indulgence. Taza will showcase the new bars at Natural Products Expo West, booth N1805. With no dairy and no cane sugar, Taza’s plant-based Almond Milk Chocolate is crafted from simple organic ingredients.

Co-founder and CEO Alex Whitmore innovated an inspired formula that blends ground blanched almonds with Taza’s Direct Trade Certified cacao to create a rich, indulgent bar that eats like a milk chocolate. Coconut sugar replaces traditional cane sugar, creating a deep caramelized sweetness that pairs with the smooth mouthfeel. To date, Taza has used its signature stone ground process to create chocolate with distinctive, satisfyingly gritty texture. Fans of the brand’s top-selling 95% Wicked Dark line or rustic Mexican-style Chocolate Discs may be surprised to learn that Taza can create smooth chocolate.

Taza continued to re-imagine the typical chocolate experience with the Almond Milk Chocolate package – a convenient, re-sealable pouch that finally makes the chocolate bar a viable on-the-go snack option. The Almond Milk Chocolate line is launching with three flavors: Classic, Cashew Crunch, and Crispy Quinoa. The 2.5oz bars have an SRP of $6.99.
