Most candy, high-calorie drinks and greasy meals could soon be on a food blacklist in the nation's schools.

America's beverage companies announced a new Calories Count Vending Program, which will be launched in municipal buildings in the cities of Chicago and San Antonio beginning in 2013 and then made available to vending customers nationwide.

AdvancePierre Foods has introduced a line of Fast Bites breakfast sandwiches for vending, convenience stores and other grab-and-go foodservice outlets.
