November 4/M&A Navigator -- Swiss cocoa and chocolate product maker Barry Callebaut inked an agreement to take over Spanish chocolate maker Chocovic from the Nederland Group.

The move is in line with Barry Callebaut's efforts to further expand its core operations with industrial and artisanal customers, and to broaden its geographic presence.

The terms of the acquisition were not revealed.
