Coffee to Fight Alzheimer's
May 19/London/The Mirror -- A daily dose of caffeine could delay the onset of Alzheimer's and even prevent the disease.
Scientists found coffee can lower the levels of protein in the brain that cause degeneration. They found it may also boost memory power.
Dr. Alexandre de Mendonga, of the Portuguese research team, said, "One of the biggest complications of Alzheimer's is depression, and recent observations that caffeine may be a mood normalizer are of particular interest."
