On the Street: Staff Additions at AFFI

July 12/McLean, Va./Business Wire -- American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) president and CEO Kraig R. Naasz announced the addition of two new members to the AFFI staff. Corey N. Henry joins AFFI as vice president of communications, and Jane D. Pritchett is AFFI's new manager of accounting.

"The American Frozen Food Institute is fortunate to add such highly qualified and outstanding individuals as Corey and Jane to our existing team," said Naasz. "The skills and wealth of experience they bring to their respective positions will strengthen our representation of the frozen food industry and enhance our advocacy efforts."

Before coming to AFFI, Henry served as vice president of grassroots advocacy for the National Mining Association (NMA). While there he developed industry advocacy campaigns, managed the association's online grassroots communication program and oversaw the association's online voter mobilization program. Other positions he held at NMA include director of public affairs, where he served as one of the association's spokespersons and point of contact for the media.

Prior to NMA, Henry was director of public affairs for The Fertilizer Institute and associate editor of Inside Washington Publishers, where he focused on international trade policy. Henry earned his B.A. in political studies from the University of Saskatchewan and his B.J. in journalism from the University of Regina.

Pritchett comes to AFFI with 21 years of experience in all aspects of accounting, as well as training in human resources. She was previously employed at the American Hotel Lodging Association and has a B.S. in business administration from South Carolina State University. Pritchett succeeds Elaine Adler, who retired on June 30 after nine years of service to AFFI.
