The information provides insights into the current use of LinkedIn and Facebook among E-dition readers (those surveyed all appear to be in the food industry). As expected, LinkedIn, a professional networking application, is used more for business purposes than is Facebook, a social media used primarily for friends and families.
Another survey question addressed Twitter use. At the point in time that the survey was taken, nearly 95% of respondents do not yet follow tweets. A follow-up survey in the future will be conducted to see how this usage is changing.
