Pepsi Looks to Buy Remainder of Wimm-Bill-Dann
February 24/Moscow/Russian Financial Control Monitor -- PepsiCo Inc said it has made an offer to minority shareholders for the remaining 23.02% of Russian juice and dairy company Wimm-Bill-Dann (WBD).
The company increased its stake in WBD ordinary shares to about 77% earlier this month in a deal that made PepsiCo the largest food and beverage business in Russia.
