Stonyfield Blends in body

January 16/Londonderry, N.H. -- Stonyfield Blends are new yogurts for a new yogurt world. Stonyfield Blends are thicker and creamier and taste and feel more like custard than other organic alternatives and are packed with real fruit pieces blended in and, because they are made with more milk than traditional yogurt, also promise to be higher in protein. Available in 11 fat-free and low-fat varieties, the yogurts retail for $0.99 and will be available beginning in February.

Blends are a combination of organic milk and fruit that just might have yogurt fans thinking they are eating berries and cream.

"With the rising popularity of Greek yogurt, the trend is toward thicker, tastier and more satisfying varieties. We created Blends to be the perfect combination of thick, creamy yogurt with delicious real fruit," said Lindsay Hardie, Stonyfield senior brand manager. "With more protein and real fruit stirred in, all you need is a spoon."

Blends are made with more organic milk to offer a thicker spoonful that has more protein to satisfy hunger. Stonyfield Blends will replace Stonyfield's flavored "Smooth and Creamy" yogurts in grocery and natural food stores beginning in January. Blends will be available in both fat-free and low-fat with flavors such as fat-free French Vanilla, Blueberry, Strawberry Banana, Lemon, Peach Mango and Blackberry, and low-fat French Vanilla, Strawberry, Raspberry, Peach, and Black Cherry.

Like all Stonyfield products, Blends are organic and produced without the use of toxic persistent pesticides, antibiotics, growth hormones, genetically engineered ingredients (GMOs), and artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners.
