April 2/Winston-Salem, N.C./Press Release -- Golding Farms Foods Inc., a food manufacturing and bottling company in Winston-Salem, N.C., recently announced it has invested $3 million in the acquisition of 40,000 square feet of warehouse and office space.  In addition, it doubled its quality assurance and product development labs, expanded the maintenance and engineering departments, and invested in more advanced technical and automated equipment.  This acquisition adds to its 90,000-square-foot plant which currently employs 70 full-time employees and several contract employees.

“In these difficult economic times, we are extremely proud that we are growing”, says Tony Golding, owner and president of Golding Farms Foods.  “Having additional space will allow us the opportunity to grow -- and to offer additional jobs.  We are very happy about that.” 

Golding Farms Foods produces kosher-certified products (honey, mustards, steak sauces, and dressings).  Mrs. Campbell’s Chow Chows, Mountain Ridge Honey and Little River Seafood Sauces are also products of the company. The facility is an approved vendor for private-label brand-name condiments by many grocery and food service distributors.  In addition, Golding Farms is a manufacturer for co-packing.  “It is the variety of business, great tasting products, loyal customers and the Golding Farms team that has made us a success” says Golding.
