April 8/Aurora, Ill./Press Release -- OSI Group LLC, a food provider and supply chain expert to restaurant chains and food processors, has announced the following promotions to its executive team:

Sherry DeMeulenaere is promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer. DeMeulenaere joined OSI in March 2008 as vice president and treasurer, bringing with her a wealth of corporate finance experience gained through her work at a number of large companies including OfficeMax Incorporated, where she held the position of assistant treasurer.  Prior to this, DeMeulenaere worked at Baxter International as director of international treasury.  She has also worked for Kraft Foods, where she took on roles of increasing responsibility which included assistant controller, controller, profit improvement programs director, planning manager and strategy manager. 

In addition to DeMeulenaere’s range of professional responsibilities at OSI, she is an active member in several national professional organizations, including the Association for Financial Professionals and the Corporate Treasurers Council. DeMeulenaere is also active in her community. She has been a board member for a not-for-profit community daycare center for over 25years, where she is currently serving as president.

DeMeulenaere’s academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in finance from Arizona State University.

Donna Bunch Coaxum is promoted to senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of OSI Group LLC, responsible for OSI’s global legal operations.  Coaxum rejoined OSI in 2009 as vice president, general counsel and secretary, having previously served as senior counsel from 2001-2003.  Prior to OSI, she worked as an attorney for Kraft Foods, Oscar Mayer, Sears Roebuck and Towers Watson, combining over 20 years of legal experience across a variety of business units in various areas of the law with a special focus on the food and consumer products industry. 

Coaxum received her Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Purdue University and her certified public accountant designation in the state of Illinois.  She received her law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a member of the bar in Wisconsin, Illinois, Pennsylvania and California.
